GILI HOLIDAY

There are small islnds around the island of Lombok called Gilis. Only those 3 Gilis namely Trawangan, Meno and Air located on the west coast of the island are popular for holiday namely Gili Air the closest to the beach, Gili Meno in the middle and Gili Trawangan the outer one. Their main interest is torques clear water, white soft sand beach and beautiful panorama of Bali island from all Gilis. The best way to organize holiday on Gili Trawangan is given below. There are many ways to visit Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno, one is by fast boat from Bali, or fly from Bali to Lombok then take land transport to Senggigi beach, and from Senggigi beach by motorized boat around 20 minutes to Gili Trawangan the farthest Gili among the tree. Day tour from Bali is not by any transport possible now due to relocation of international airport which distance is in central Lombok far from places of interests.

Day 01 Bali – Gili Trawangan

Early breakfast at hotel 06.00 – 06.30 transfer to Benoa or Padangbai harbor to board fast boat, takes around 3 hours to the small island of Gili Trawangan on the west coast of Lombok taking exotic transport named Cidomo heading to hotel dragged by single horse. Rest of the day explore on own cost the island by hiring cidomo or find your favorite sea or beach activities or just relax on the beautiful beach till sunset. Dinner on own arrangement by choosing any of the plenty restaurant along the beach.

Day 02 Gili Trawangan – Bali

Breakfast at hotel’s restaurant, free time to enjoy half day more the beauty of the island, until 12.00 time to check-out and board the fast boat to Bali. Around 15.00 arrive back at Benoa harbor and transfer to hotel for rest.

1. Fast boat is the biggest fast boat Bali – Gili – Lombok crushing the strait of Lombok, depending on the weather time needed is between 3 to 4 hours one way
2. During bad weather season between December - January, the boat might cancel or delay the departure for the sake of safety,
3. From pier in Gili to hotel available horse cart transfer to be booked by travellers on own at around US$ 11.50 per cart one way for maximum 3 persons
