Second is the colony of fine wooden carving artist of Mas village where the people are mostly carving artist creating traditional myth inspired figures up to the realistic objects. The material for carving being used are from light and cheap wood up to the most solid and expensive one such as mahagony.

Third is the colony of canvas pailnting artist that is located in Ubud town surrounding. Painters create traditional, historical and modern paiting. Traditional ubud painting style is well known in the world as meticulous and consistent style, until got the influenceof realistic concept from European artist which later born the style called Young Artist.

The sightseeing to artist colonies best time is actually in the morning to get better weather as in Bali as tropical island can get high heat during noon and also possiblity of rain, especially from September to March.
