Semarang city with its' Tanjung Mas sea port counts around one million people has now become the biggest city in Central Java as the commercial city and the only port to charge and discharge all products exported and imported to and from Central Java. Due to the fast developement of trade, the city has become bigger then historic city and the center of Javanese culture, Yogyakarta. The city offers interesting places to visit and is comfortable for half day shore execursion from Tanjung Mas sea port Semarang.

After immigaration formalities disemberk the ship and depart for the old city or “Little Netherland” where there are 50 old buildings such as Gereja Blenduk : Protestant church was built in 1753 by Dutch with neo-classic style has two minarets and one dome. Sam Po Kong : Chinese temple was built in 15th century by Chinese great admiral Zheng He/Cheng Ho who visited the area in 1405. The Others : Thousand Door Building [Lawang sewu], Youth Movement [Tugu muda], lunch will be provided at local restaurant, after lunch we heading to Maerokoco, and the end of program is sightseeing stop in traditional market of Pasar Johar, afternoon drop back to the port as the end of program.

For those who has more then 8 hours time from disembarking the ship until the latest boarding time can visit the city of Jagyakarta with its historical places such as Borobudur Buddhist temple, Prambanan Shiva temples and the unique Sultan Palace as the beginning of current Jogyakarta city.
